Don't Be Foolish - Vikings Will Win Monday Night
Every NFL fan, no matter what team they cheer for, will have their eyes glued to the T.V. this Monday. Brett Favre and the Vikings travel to Green Bay for Brett Favre's first game at Lambeau as a non-Packer. Yeah, the "Return to Lambeau" storyline will overshadow what, even without the Favre saga, would be a great Monday Night Football game. But, like it or not, that storyline is more interesting than the beginning of the NBA and NHL seasons and the World Series, COMBINED.
Many ESPNers are saying that the Packers, at home following a bye week, will have the bigger number on the scoreboard Monday Night. They are mistaken. The Packers' porous offensive line and less than satisfactory defense are being vastly overlooked. Aaron Rodgers will throw for 350 yards, but he'll have 2 interceptions to go along with his 2 or 3 touchdown passes. The Vikings are just better. That's really the only way to put it.
